I went to Cindy for lazer hair removal just over a year ago. The third appointment for my bikini line left me scarred. Literally. I left with burns and later took myself to my local walk in. I confronted Cindy and she blamed me for it, wanted to charge me for (possible) repair and openly admitted i wasn't the only client left scarred. Be careful with at-home specialists. There's nothing to protect you.

Christine from Skin Discovery is the real deal! I booked a virtual skin consultation with her, and the process was super convenient and informative. She took the time to analyze my skin type, the products I was using, and provide honest feedback and recommendations that would help me achieve happier skin. She sent me a bunch of samples to try out, and a hand written ritual card so I wouldn't forget my routine -- what a nice touch!If you're having any issues with your skin, I would highly recommend Skin Discovery. Christine is super passionate about what she does, and is well educated in all things skin.I'm a couple days into my new routine and I am loving it!

One lovely, sunny day in the city, I found myself taking a stroll and passing by Art Ink Collective, where a friendly bunch of folx were also enjoying some sunshine. I had a quick chat with them and quickly went onto Instagram to check the studio out further. I found myself entranced and in love with Dixie’s style and designs, so I reached out to make an appointment. Dixie was exceptionally prompt, professional, super friendly, and accommodating during the initial set-up (including design and placement) and scheduling; she was also very understanding when I found myself running 15 minutes late. Art Ink Collective is an extremely clean, open, and bright space. I was greeted by two friendly faces (Dixie & Ginger) and felt immediately welcomed, safe, and in good hands. Dixie confirmed the design and placement with me and worked meticulously to ensure sizing and placement fit my body perfectly. Even during the tattoo, Dixie was so fun to talk to and laugh with. She has an incredible attention to detail, great creativity, and passion. Fun fact: She also makes the amazing healing creams & after-care products, which smell incredible. I have gotten several tattoos over the years and this ‘first-time’ experience I had with Dixie is absolutely one of my favourites. Dixie, thank you so much for your kind-heartedness, strong work ethic, and clam & caring demeanour. I cannot wait to book my next tattoo with you!

This was my first tattoo. From the moment I called for an appointment to walking out the door, I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was very warm, welcoming, accommodating and ensure your comfort AND safety (esp in a pandemic) was a priority. The artist, Ashley, was friendly, paid attention to detail, took her time to ensure perfection and gave good energy all around. I was a little nervous about getting a tattoo, but Ashley took her time to walk me through and talk me through.The shop was clean and in regulation according to the health and safety guidelines. VERY reasonably priced as well. I would definitely go back for more work!
